Food for Thought Friday, August 31st

It's been some time since I've posted.  Honestly, I was dealing with some personal family things.  I received a phone call from my son that no parent ever wants to receive and found his note when I went to pack clothes for him.  Fighting depression alone isn't easy.  One thing I had in my corner is that I am a believer in Christ so I truly knew I was never fighting the battle alone.  What I didn't do when I was struggling so hard was lean more on Him.  I do that more now, but still probably not as much as I should.   I have learned from my past and while I know there is a time and a place for anti-depressants, I have made the decision not to take them.   I know that not everyone has that option.   I took them in the past but I have found that natural options control my anxiety and depression and work well for me.  I can't say that may be the same for everyone else.  My best advice there is to do your research and ma...
